Nobody likes to lose and the Las Vegas Raiders’ loss against the Buffalo Bills stings. In the newest episode of The Only Nation Podcast, we take a look at that game and discuss the Silver and Black’s upcoming matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Only Nation Podcast Ep. 29: Raiders Week 5 analysis
We start off the show noting that although the Raiders lost their Week 4 matchup, the game against the Bills felt more solid for those of us watching as fans. Quarterback Derek Carr led the team against the Bills and put up a good fight even if they fell 30-23. Tight end Darren Waller was also back to his normal self. However, the Bills were able to keep running back Josh Jacobs in check.

Up next for the Raiders is an away game in Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs are looking like the team to beat in the NFL this year and it doesn’t seem like they have taken a step back. When we do our game predictions, it is obvious that we consider this game to be a huge test for the Raiders. After all, they are facing the Super Bowl defending champions.
The best part of this episode is a Silver and Black throwback of a game against the Chiefs under Jon Gruden’s first go-around as the Raiders coach. We then raise the question of who was a better free agent signing from the Chiefs, quarterback Rich Gannon or center Rodney Hudson. Wrapping up the episode, we introduce you to the first four-legged Heidi’s Hero.
