Get Ready Raiders Fans, Here Come The Ravens!

The regular season has commenced with the Las Vegas Raiders looking to take on the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football later this evening.

News and Notes

The Raiders wrapped up the preseason and made several roster moves to start settling on their 53 man roster. The Silver and Black signed former Washington Football Team running back Peyton Barber to fill their third running back spot. They also added more experienced depth to the linebacker room by bringing back Marquel Lee and adding him to the practice squad. To make room for Lee, the Raiders released linebacker Max Richardson.

Along with Lee’s signing, the Raiders also added wide receiver David Moore to the practice squad. Moore had been a fan favorite playing for the Seattle Seahawks. In a surprising move, Las Vegas released linebacker Tanner Muse. He had been selected by the Raiders in the third round of the 2020 draft and was expected to contribute this year.

Raven Discussion

In anticipation for the Raider’s season opening game against the Ravens, we went over what we consider to be keys to the game. We each spoke about what the Raiders need to do on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. One of the keys to the game will be winning the battle in the trenches. Others include establishing Darren Waller in the receiving game and Josh Jacobs in the running game.

Episode Wrap Up

To wrap up the episode, we spend more time discussing Tanner Muse and David Moore. Neither host can get the weekly quiz question correct. Finally, we honor some unseen heroes to start the season.
