The last couple of weeks for these picks have been rough. The Las Vegas Raiders have been quite volatile, and the picks have become a crapshoot. Nevertheless, we’re back at it again. All lines via DraftKings as of Friday afternoon.
Smartest Bet: Raiders -2.5 (-115)
Last week against Denver might be a fluke, but it feels like the Raiders got a shot in the arm. Even if they come back to Earth, Las Vegas is the better team by a significant margin. The defense should hold the Philadelphia Eagles under 25, and the offense should be around 30. Two and a half points should be an easy cover.
Safest Bet: Raiders Over 2.5 Touchdowns (-120)
The Raiders offense was cooking last week. Despite playing almost exclusively good defensive teams, Las Vegas still managed to score at least three touchdowns late in half of their games this year. They’ve also reached that mark in three of their four wins. So, if you’re betting the Raiders to win, you might as well double down on this over.
Best Risky Bet: Kenyan Drake to Score (+310)
Drake finally got going last week with two touchdowns. Greg Olson’s play calling seems to have sparked him. If he keeps this momentum, he might find the endzone again this week. Maybe not twice again, but at least once would lead to a solid payout.
