A promising start to the Las Vegas Raiders’ 2021 season was abruptly derailed by scandal and tragedy. However, the season isn’t over, so we decided to ask readers how they felt about the team’s remaining games.
Chalking up 2021 to another midseason collapse is still premature. There’s plenty of football left to be played, and the chance to turn things around hasn’t abandoned the Silver and Black. Nevertheless, the Raiders find themselves in the midst of a two-game skid. Also, they are now looking up at the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC West. Raider Nation’s faith is usually firm, so we posed the question: how many games will the team win in its final stretch?
Raider Nation On Twitter Says…

The Raider faithful on Twitter believe the team can muster at least three more wins. This would bring the Raiders’ win total to just eight for 2021. Obviously, this means the postseason will again bypass Las Vegas. That would be disappointing considering how hot of a start the team had. However, Jon Gruden’s resignation, combined with the tragedy surrounding Henry Ruggs III, has clearly affected the Raiders.
ESPN recently predicted that Las Vegas would end the year at 9-8. There’s no doubt that prediction riled fans as they don’t care much for the national media. Be that as it may, this is now a realistic possibility.
A much bleaker outlook is shared by some of the nearly 200 voters. That, of course, being the notion that the team will only win one more game, possibly two. If Derek Carr and Co. can retain their focus, it’s likely the team will win more than a couple of games. For now, fans will just have to wait until Sunday to see if their team has circled the wagons. After all, the Cincinnati Bengals come in with their own two-game losing streak. Something has got to give.
