I can’t believe I’m writing this. The Las Vegas Raiders are back in the playoffs. If you’re a masochist and want to add more stress this Saturday, here is how you can make some money. All lines are as of Thursday afternoon via Draft Kings.
Smartest Bet: Hunter Renfrow to Score (+180)
I love this bet so much. +180 is a solid payout for something that has been happening pretty frequently as of late. Renfrow has scored four times in the last three games and has found the endzone at least once in four out of the last five. He has become the Raiders’ best option in the red zone by far. The return of Darren Waller seemed to give him even more space down there this past week. This is a great bet.
Safest Bet: Josh Jacobs Over 84.5 Combined Rushing and Receiving Yards (-115)
Josh Jacobs has been on a tear as of late. He has rushed for over 320 yards over the last three games. He seems pretty healthy, so the Raiders have started to really feed him. The Alabama product has made sure to take advantage. After a slow start to the season, Jacobs seems to have found his groove.
The numbers back up Jacobs’ hitting the over too. He has gone over 84.5 total yards in three of the last five games. On the season, he has averaged over 71 total yards per game. Those numbers are a bit skewed by Jacobs’ inconsistent health too. With that factored in, he would need just slightly above average production at a time when he is playing his best and his team needs him the most. It is a slam dunk.
Best Risky Bet: Hunter Renfrow to Score First (+1300)
If you’re already betting on Renfrow, why not throw a little something something on this long shot bet? If the Raiders end up being the first team to score, odds are it will be Renfrow. It is worth a look simply because of the potential for a big payout.
