Coming off their second preseason win, the Las Vegas Raiders had more good news to celebrate. As of today, four members of the Silver and Black have made the NFL Top 100. However, who has made the cut so far? Let’s take a look.
Heading into a year with sky-high expectations, the Raiders feature one of the most loaded rosters they’ve had to date. Obviously, you don’t field that type of team without some major star power. A showcase amongst NFL players, by players, for players. Up to this point, the league has revealed Derek Carr (65), Chandler Jones (62), Maxx Crosby (59), and Darren Waller (58). It should be noted that only Waller received this dubious recognition last season.
NFL Top 100: Who else will make the cut for the Raiders?
All four players are well deserving of their ranking. Carr has continuously proven to be one of the most accurate quarterbacks every season. Waller, who was once a practice squad player for the Baltimore Ravens, has risen to stardom with No. 4 as his signal-caller. Crosby has been a homegrown talent, the best pick (arguably) of the Mike Mayock era, and coming off a Pro Bowl year, he’ll look to continue climbing his ranking. The newcomer, Jones, has been a pass-rushing extraordinaire who’s looking to have a major impact out of the gate.
Those recipients aside, it begs the question of who else will crack the NFL Top 100? The most obvious candidate is star wide receiver, Davante Adams. Consistently one of, if not, the best wide receivers in the game, don’t be surprised to see him land in the top 10. One player that has some fans wondering is Hunter Renfrow. As one of the NFL’s best and most underrated slot receivers, you have to wonder if he’ll make an appearance this year on the list.
