It was a tough one for the Las Vegas Raiders, no other way to put it. The team was in control throughout the first half, picking up where they left off against the Denver Broncos. Unfortunately, Kansas Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes got it going right before the half and, along with tight end Travis Kelce, torched the Raiders’ secondary. However, the Silver and Black still had a chance to win it down to the last possession but came up short as Davante Adams and Hunter Renfrow collided, apparently running the same route. Just like that, the game was over.
Emotions must’ve boiled over for Raiders WR Davante Adams
Not to make light of the situation, but once the final whistle blew, it appeared that the night wasn’t over for Adams quite yet. Frustrated with the outcome of Monday night’s game, he shoved a cameraman on his way back to the locker room as he neared the tunnel’s entrance. All things considered, no one would blame No. 17 for being p*ssed off. Nonetheless, shoving a camera operator isn’t the answer; it never is.

The story immediately went viral due to the national attention that the game was receiving. The video posted by ESPN’s Adam Schefter garnered one million-plus views relatively quickly. It’s certainly a bad look for the superstar wide receiver, which is unfortunate considering the big night he had. Adams caught three receptions for 124 yards, including a pair of touchdowns. One of which was highlight-reel worthy came in the first quarter.

More Raiders News: Adams apologized but is a fine forthcoming?
Following the game, Adams apologized via his Twitter account. Nevertheless, one has to wonder if a fine is coming from the league. That’s certainly going to be worth monitoring in the coming days. There’s plenty of finger pointing that can be done after this loss, and no doubt Adams is disappointed. Can the team turn it around after their incoming bye week?
