Now that the Davante Adams trade rumors have become a reality, it is time for other teams to place claims. Obviously, everybody knows the relationship between the Las Vegas Raiders wideout and Aaron Rodgers has always been strong. He wants to win a championship and so does his former quarterback.
Still thinking these trade accusations might be false? Antonio Pierce held a presser where he had the opportunity to quiet the storm. When asked about his thoughts on such Davante Adams trade rumors, Pierce replied, “I am just focused on Denver.”
Pierce added that he and Adams talk often, but he would prefer to keep their relationship private. The Raiders head coach also noted his team’s offense performed well without having their star wide receiver.
“I thought some guys stepped up and had all hands on deck for that game,” Pierce said.
When a head coach chooses not to address rumors of his players that swarmed the media, it should be seen as a red flag.
Denver is the next game on the schedule, but the most anticipated win will be trying to gain compensation for Adams. Pierce is doing his best to relieve his team of the distractions, but this will surely be a tough task.
Updates on the Davante Adams, Las Vegas Raiders Saga
The #Cowboys are not interested in trading for Davante Adams, per source. The #Chiefs are (obviously) going to be in the receiver market, but a divisional trade is highly unlikely.

Given their star receiver is now injured, of course the Kansas City Chiefs will be looking for receiver depth. However, the Raiders trading with their most hated rival is highly unlikely.
The Dallas Cowboys were one of the presumed suitors for Adams, but they are allegedly out on this trade.
Meanwhile, I'm told the #Steelers do have preliminary interest in at least discussing a potential trade for #Raiders WR Davante Adams, per source.

Pittsburgh being one of the interested teams comes as no surprise. Comparatively, the team was heavily involved in the Brandon Aiyuk trade drama. The Steelers seem to be desperate for a star wide receiver and will try to acquire this star wide receiver again.
Two teams high on Davante Adams’ wishlist of places to land – if not at the very top – are the Jets and Saints, per league sources.

It sounds as if Adams strictly wants to play with a quarterback he trusts, as this list indicates. He has a great relationship with Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr. If that is the case, the Commanders should be another team in contention for the rights of Adams. It has been well documented that Adams is a huge fan of Jayden Daniels.
When asked about how he felt regarding the rookie’s recent success in the NFL, Adams revealed his feelings on Daniels. “He is a special player,” Adams said. “We were hoping all the teams didn’t think so and he could slip down to the Raiders.”
It will be an eventful week filled with more updates. In the meantime, Adams will not play this week as he rehabs his hamstring injury.
