Mark Davis welcomes Tom Brady to the Las Vegas Raiders organization

Looking Ahead To The Raiders 2025 Schedule And Opponents

The Las Vegas Raiders recently found out about their 2025 opponents; let’s take a very early look at their upcoming slate next season.

The 2024 NFL season has limped to an end for the Silver and Black.

With a 4-13 record, the team finished at the bottom of the AFC West, an extremely strong division. The Denver Broncos finished third at 10-7, yet they still managed to secure themselves a playoff spot as the No. 7 seed.

For the Raiders, they will have to sit alone and watch the postseason take place like everyone else around the world. They will be among the millions regularly watching one of the world’s biggest sports events. For instance, while Canada has its own version of American football through its Canadian Football League, more people watch and bet using the Sports Interaction Canada platform after reading a review on the Super Bowl than they do the Grey Cup.

Nonetheless, they can’t afford to spend too much time idle during the offseason. Indeed, while there is still plenty of speculation surrounding the future, some things have already been determined. Whether Antonio Pierce will be returning for a second full season as head coach or whether they will look to pick up a quarterback to try and improve the roster remains to be seen, but they already know their opponents next season.

Who will the Las Vegas Raiders face in 2025?

The NFL has announced the slate of fixtures that each team will play in the upcoming 2025 season, following the conclusion of this year’s regular season. Having determined the standings of each franchise, we can now create the fixtures.

For the Raiders, they will face each of their AFC West divisional rivals home and away as usual. However, this season they will also take on the four teams that comprise the AFC South (Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tennessee Titans) and the NFC East (Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys, and New York Giants).

In addition, they will face teams that finished fourth in the AFC North (Cleveland Browns), NFC North (Chicago Bears), and AFC East (New England Patriots). The team has not yet scheduled dates, but they already know who they will host at Allegiant Stadium and who they will play on the road.

Nine of their 17 regular season games will be played at home against:

  • Denver Broncos
  • Kansas City Chiefs
  • Los Angeles Chargers
  • Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Tennessee Titans
  • Dallas Cowboys
  • New York Giants
  • Cleveland Browns
  • Chicago Bears

The remaining eight games will be played on the road with trips to:

  • Denver Broncos
  • Kansas City Chiefs
  • Los Angeles Chargers
  • Houston Texans
  • Indianapolis Colts
  • Philadelphia Eagles
  • Washington Commanders
  • New England Patriots

What’s next for the Raiders in the post-Antonio Pierce era?

As previously mentioned, Antonio Pierce is no longer the head coach in Sin City. While some may consider Raiders ownership’s decision controversial and possibly unfair, one could argue that he didn’t receive a fair opportunity. The roster, even with rookie standout Brock Bowers, was rife with deficiencies.

So, with the franchise looking to go in a different direction after a 4-13 finish, new minority owner Tom Brady obviously has a say in who arrives. Mike Vrabel is being touted as a top candidate for the role. The pair played together at the New England Patriots, so they know a lot about winning. They could potentially form a strong bond after Vrabel’s success in a similar head coaching role with the Titans.
