It’s no secret that Pete Carroll is trying to make the Las Vegas Raiders a winning team as quickly as possible. The 73-year-old head coach has made it clear that he’s trying to win now, not in the future. The problem is, Sin City’s football team lacks offensive firepower–specifically, the wide receiver room.
Or is that a problem?
Miami Dolphins superstar wideout Tyreek Hill began the year 2025 by voicing his concerns to media members. “I just gotta do what’s best for me and my family. If that’s here or wherever the case may be, I’m finna open that door for myself. I’m out, bro.”
That was during the first week of January. Now, in the last week of March, Hill still has that same energy. That’s evident by his recent post on X, throwing up the peace sign in response to a prediction about him getting traded.
Traded to where, though? Well, if NFL Network’s Adam Rank has anything to say about it, the Las Vegas Raiders may be where Tyreek Hill ends up this offseason.
“Raiders?,” Rank responded to Hill’s peace sign.
Hill is coming off of what is arguably his worst year as a pro, failing to earn a Pro Bowl nod for the first time in his nine-year career. He hauled in 81 passes for six touchdowns, both of which stand as the lowest marks since his rookie season where he started one contest.
Play from backup quarterbacks didn’t do Hill any favors in 2024, but it should be noted Tua Tagovailoa suited up for 11 games this past season. That’s only two less than in 2022, when Hill was still able to earn first-team All-Pro honors.
Hill is currently averaging $30 million annually, making him the seventh-highest paid receiver league-wide.
