Veterans of the Las Vegas Raiders had a voluntary minicamp period of their own earlier in the year, but this was prior to the 2025 NFL Draft taking place. Now with rookies in Sin City, it’s time for another OTA period–one that includes the first-year players.
Yesterday, members of the Las Vegas Raiders grouped together to take part in a closed practice that marked the start of this year’s official OTAs period. Geno Smith, Brock Bowers, Ashton Jeanty, Jack Bech, and many of Raider Nation’s favorite Raiders took part in the team activity as both the veterans and rookies began familiarizing themselves with their new teammates and coaches.
While this was a closed practice without any media present, Wednesday and Thursday’s practices will include media availability.
After Thursday, Sin City’s football team takes a break before reuniting on May 27th for another day on the football field. Although there won’t be any practice held the day after, on the 28th, OTAs will continue from May 29 to May 30th, picking back up again on the 2nd of June and concluding on June 5th.
The three-day mandatory minicamp follows directly after OTAs, starting on June 10th and wrapping up on the 12th.
In the meantime, as we at The Raider Ramble get to writing, Pete Carroll and the Las Vegas Raiders get to playing football. And as the offseason program continues, we will continue giving updates on the process.
For now, sit back and relax; OTAs will heat up tomorrow with more content on to come. Carroll and his team are working hard, and so are we to deliver content Raider Nation wants to see.
