Brock Bowers Talks "Unmatched Energy" Of Las Vegas Raiders HC Pete Carroll

An All-Pro tight end and an all-time head coach? That’s one heck of a combo the Las Vegas Raiders have in Brock Bowers and Pete Carroll.

The energy Pete Carroll brings on a daily basis is well documented within Sin City’s walls at this point. Outside of those walls, Carroll’s unmatched energy has given athletes unforgettable memories for decades.

Just ask former Pro Bowl tackle Taylor Lewan, who shared his coach Carroll story with Brock Bowers on Bussin’ With The Boys.

“His energy is unmatched,” Lewan recalled.

“He was at USC when I was in high school, and I remember going to a junior camp. It was an All-Star junior camp. And I saw him. And I was like, ‘Coach Carroll, great to meet you,’ put my hand out, he slaps my hand out of the way and gives me a hug.”

That’s the same Pete Carroll who Raiders superstar tight end Brock Bowers has come to know.

“He brings the juice,” Las Vegas’ first-team All-Pro pass-catcher noted.

“We’re having shoot-offs in the team room. At practice he’s on the ground wrestling dudes. It’s pretty fun.”

Of course, this was far from the first time Bowers commented on Carroll’s unmatched energy. Just last month the 22-year-old had been raving about his head coach’s liveliness.

“He brings the energy. He brings the juice,” said Bowers during a June press conference.

“It has been awesome being a part of that, and hopefully we get something special going in Vegas. I feel like we are coming together as a team. And coach Carroll has been awesome.”
