Part III: Top 3 Wide Receivers during Raiders’ “Dark Age”

Denarius Moore’s consistent play was enough to put him higher on this list than Curry even though Curry had more receiving yards. I had forgotten about Porter’s suspension in 2006 which stemmed from his bickering with then head coach Art Shell. I always wonder what these receivers could have done with the young star the Raiders now have under center. Either way, real fans can appreciate how far the Raiders have come from those days and enjoy even more the present day success.

Two Raiders legends weigh in on this year’s squad

By now the Oakland Raiders being one of the favorites to compete for a trip to next year’s Super Bowl is one of the NFL’s worst kept secrets. Raiders Editorial: Megatron? Let’s take a step back Raider Nation

It’s amazing what a few years can do to the fortunes of a franchise; from hiring the right boss to making sound decisions in free agency and of course, drafting the “right” talent. Having grown up during some of the most atrocious years in Oakland Raiders’ lore, the fact that a player of the magnitude of Calvin Johnson would consider playing for the team is something to behold.

Rivalry lines have been drawn between the Raiders and Chiefs

Quite early for Peters to post bulletin board material as the teams won’t meet until October 19th for a Week 7 “Thursday Night Football” showdown under the lights of primetime television.  The long-time rivals have found a newly competitive distaste for one another as both teams haven’t been as talented or league-wide successful in quite some time.

2017 Outlook: Jamize Olawale’s going to be a nightmare matchup

The Oakland Raiders signed Jamize Olawale off of the Dallas Cowboy’s practice squad in 2012. While Olawale wasn’t a big part of the offense, he was a solid special teams player. He even led the team in special teams tackles with 14 in 2014 after coming in third the previous season with eight.

Oakland Raiders: Setting the standard for “High Character”

Player arrests haven’t received much attention recently, but that’s good news for the Oakland Raiders. In fact, none of their players have been detained in more than three years.

Despite not going deep into the playoffs since they last went to the Super Bowl in 2002 (last year they were “one and done” against the Houston Texans unfortunately), not having players going to jail on a constant basis is a good reason for the team and Raider Nation to celebrate.
