Oakland Raiders: The Cornerback Vexation

The expectations for the Oakland Raiders organization to deliver a Lombardi Trophy to the Bay Area will lie heavily on how its defense can perform, in particular, the defensive backfield and its corners. The NFL’s Best Game Closing Duo

Carr and Mack are the perfect game closing duo as team captains. From the locker room to the huddle, every player has faith in the duos ability to win under any circumstance. I had forgotten about Porter’s suspension in 2006 which stemmed from his bickering with then head coach Art Shell. I always wonder what these receivers could have done with the young star the Raiders now have under center. Either way, real fans can appreciate how far the Raiders have come from those days and enjoy even more the present day success.
