The New Dynamic Duo Of The Raiders Secondary

Conley showed flashes of greatness in a Week 2 matchup last season against the New York Jets. Despite it serving as a brief look at the former Buckeye, it gave a glimmer of hope that the Raiders have a shut-down corner for many years to come. Unfortunately, Conley’s shins would give way the following week and as a result, he was put on the shelf for the remainder of his rookie season.

Prior to joining the Raiders, Gannon’s top season was less than stellar as he only managed 2,305 yards through the air with ten touchdown tosses and six interceptions.

With a tough-love coaching style, Gruden was able to help lead Gannon on the path of his most productive years in the NFL. Now, Gruden will oversee an offensive attack that already boasts an MVP-caliber quarterback in Carr.
