It continues to be one of the most polarizing seasons for Raider Nation in Raiders history. We could discuss whether quarterback Derek Carr is good enough or second guess head coach Jon Gruden, but a win is a win.
Raider Nation Reacts To Raiders’ Win in Los Angeles
The Raiders marched into the City of Angels and kept their playoff hopes alive, answering the prayers of many who are still holding onto hope… Hope for what, you ask? Well for the postseason. It’s still entirely possible the Silver and Black play into January but is it the smart thing? Depends who you ask.
The Raiders are alive and well no matter what the detractors may say. This 2019 rookie class has been a phenomenal one. Major kudos to Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden. With 2 first rounders coming up and 3 thirds I can’t wait to see how they add to it. #RaiderNation #Raiders

Wow #Raiders actually still mathematically alive for a WC birth going into final week of the season. On to Denver!

So while yes, the hopes for a playoff berth are still technically alive, some fans wonder if missing out on a potential game changing player is worth it while others simply do not buy into the hype and try to remind folks of the big picture, the Raiders having little to show for themselves the last 16 years. And perhaps, this win is too little too late.

Also, let’s not forget about the Derek Carr debate, which has polarized and divided the fan base on social media unlike anything that’s been seen before. We’ve had a general consensus from many that no matter the outcome of this season, the more likely scenario is that Carr is the quarterback next year but anything after that is open.

Of course many folks will not give in to this notion and will clamor for a change under center, regardless of the playoffs coming to fruition or not.
It will be an interesting week on social to say the least. Ramble On, Raider Nation.
