Making a case for Raiders newest weapon Cordarrelle Patterson

I think Cordarrelle Patterson will have limited targets in this loaded offense but return large production from his touches that ultimately will spurn Seth Roberts playing time. Cordarrelle will remain the league’s best kickoff returner in silver & black and here’s to hoping to see him take one back to the house in “The Black Hole” albeit this time not in a Vikings uniform.

Newest Raider on Marshawn Lynch: “He runs angry”

Widely considered to be a steal for the Raiders, Hood will have plenty of time to develop his own game and adjust to the professional ranks though running behind Lynch will also help. For now, fans know Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington are backing up Lynch yet neither are considered ”power” runners or a “between the tackles”-type of back. With this said, Hood finds himself with an excellent opportunity and assuming he’s a part of general manager Reggie McKenzie’s long-term plans then Raider Nation might want to start remembering this kid’s name.

A solution to the Raiders’ pass defense dilemma

The Oakland Raiders’ 2016 campaign was a success and it was fueled by one of the NFL’s most prolific and balanced offenses while leaning on the late game heroics of star quarterback Derek Carr but the pass defense was another story. While the offense is young, fast, and led by arguably the NFL’s best offensive line, the pass defense left a lot to be desired in 2016.
