It shouldn’t shock anyone, but now-former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels admitted that the offense just wasn’t on the same page. What can you say when you realize that we’re nine weeks into the NFL season now? At least, if nothing else, McDaniels acknowledged his offensive unit was not in sync—more importantly, there didn’t seem to be any solutions, ultimately contributing to his firing on Tuesday night.

It was far from a good night for either Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels or starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo—that’s putting it mildly. After putting one of the most embarrassing displays on offense in recent years, Raider Nation would surely prefer for both parties to be jettisoned. In the meantime, an important decision for the immediate future needs to be made: is it time for Aidan O’Connell to start?
