The 1983 Super Bowl Champions which were none other than the Los Angeles Raiders, are considered by many to be the best Raiders team ever. Led by head coach Tom Flores, quarterback Jim Plunkett and a powerful running game led by Super Bowl MVP Marcus Allen, the 1983 Raiders rolled through the divisional playoffs and routed the Washington Redskins in Super Bowl XVIII 38 to 9.
It’s no secret the Raiders have some pretty tall tasks ahead of them in the passing game with most of their competition coming directly from their own division, playing guys like Talib, Harris Jr., and Peters.
In spite of this, between Carr’s growth over the past few seasons and a young talented receiving corps. the Raiders should weather the storm and come out alright. Plus the addition of Marshawn Lynch in the backfield should create plenty of opportunities to keep the defense guessing.

Derek Carr isn’t happy with the way his contract has been handled according to Michael Silver of NFL.com. Other than the pace of the talks it wasn’t specified what’s holding those talks back, but whether it’s because of the compensation or the parking space he wants, Carr will get a new contract. Alas, there is an additional layer to it.
The Oakland Raiders’ 2016 campaign was a success and it was fueled by one of the NFL’s most prolific and balanced offenses while leaning on the late game heroics of star quarterback Derek Carr but the pass defense was another story. While the offense is young, fast, and led by arguably the NFL’s best offensive line, the pass defense left a lot to be desired in 2016.
In an unexpected move, the Oakland Raiders stepped up at number 24 and selected Garreon Conley cornerback from the Ohio State University.
The NFL has made it official after releasing the schedule for the 2017 season that the Raiders are playing in Mexico in back to back years after a ten-year absence and Raider Nation is excited about it. They will play at the Azteca Stadium on Nov. 19, 2017 against the New England Patriots.
