You don’t ever want to read too much into things, but the most recent Heisman Trophy winner has set social media ablaze. We’re referring to LSU’s quarterback, Jayden Daniels. As you can imagine, his previous connection to current Las Vegas Raiders interim coach Antonio Pierce is making headlines.
The Raiders could select anywhere between No. 10 and possibly No. 20, depending on how they finish the season. Jayden Daniels could be there for the taking. Bleacher Report continues to project the Silver and Black drafting of the LSU product.
The Raiders are slated to pick outside of the top 10. That, unfortunately, puts them out of reach for Caleb Williams or Drake Maye. Still, that doesn’t mean the Silver and Black can’t walk away from next year’s NFL draft with a franchise-altering signal-caller.
