Oakland Raiders usher in new era with Brent Musburger

As it stands now per Gilbert Manzano of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the long-time voice of the Oakland Raiders, Greg Papa, is on his way out. Papa has served as the play-by-play radio voice of the Raiders since the 1993 season.

Taking over for Papa will be Brent Musburger as he signed a three-year contract which will start this season.

The New Dynamic Duo Of The Raiders Secondary

Conley showed flashes of greatness in a Week 2 matchup last season against the New York Jets. Despite it serving as a brief look at the former Buckeye, it gave a glimmer of hope that the Raiders have a shut-down corner for many years to come. Unfortunately, Conley’s shins would give way the following week and as a result, he was put on the shelf for the remainder of his rookie season.

Despite Conley not being on the field to showcase his talents, his collegiate resume and the brief snippet of playing time in the NFL is enough to silence any naysayers. Fast forward to now and Conley’s injury has since healed and he is right on schedule in his return to the field.
